Non-Stress Test

The Non-Stress Test is a test designed to detect fetal well being with no added stress to the baby by placing patient on fetal monitor for 20-60 minutes and monitoring heart rate and uterine activity. This provides insight to your physician about the fetus' oxygenation status as well as the extent of uterine activity.
